B orn from military precision and Italian flair, the all-aluminium TYKUN X by MED Group hits 55 knots and rewrites what a chase boat can be — fast, fearless, and beautifully crafted.

The new TYKUN X is not just another tender — it’s a revolution in aluminium. Developed by MED Group, a Cervia-based shipyard renowned for producing high-speed vessels for the public sector and armed forces, the 10.5-metre chase boat fuses naval-grade engineering with superyacht-level sophistication.

The first hull, unveiled and sea-trialed at the Monaco Yacht Show, made an immediate impact with its blend of power, precision, and Italian craftsmanship. With its military DNA, the TYKUN X balances performance and elegance — hitting over 52 knots with twin Mercury Verado 400s and capable of 55 knots with upgraded power options.

Designed in collaboration with architect Tommaso Spadolini and strategic advisor Benedetta Iovane, the TYKUN X is an exercise in balance: between speed and comfort, durability and design. Apart from its carbon fibre hardtop, the yacht is entirely built in aluminium — light, strong, recyclable, and endlessly customizable. The twin-stepped hull by Carlo Bertorello delivers remarkable stability even in rough seas, maintaining control and comfort at speeds from 25 to 40 knots.

Beyond raw performance, the TYKUN X is also a refined guest platform. Drop-down bulwarks expand the cockpit, while modular seating, sunpads, and a well-equipped wet bar make the boat ideal for relaxed days on the water. Below deck, a compact cabin with V-berth and head allows for overnight stays. Every inch has been optimized for versatility and elegance — true Made in Italy craftsmanship.

Customization is at the heart of TYKUN’s philosophy. Each unit can be tailored through the TYKUN Atelier program, ensuring every owner receives a one-of-a-kind creation. The brand is already preparing a 12-metre TYKUN XII and exploring hydrogen-powered propulsion through a partnership with TESYA Group, a project that earned the Blue Wake Award at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show.

With TYKUN X, MED Group proves that high-speed design and sustainability can coexist — a chase boat built for adventure, engineered for the future, and unmistakably Italian.
