T he world’s fastest private submersible is about to take its final step toward delivery. U-Boat Worx has transported its groundbreaking Super Sub to Curaçao, where it will undergo a full program of final sea trials, validation dives and certification ahead of handover to its owner.
A New Standard in Private Submersibles
Capable of reaching 9 knots, the Super Sub is the fastest manned submersible ever built for private use. Its hydrodynamic droplet-shaped hull, advanced wing configuration and four proprietary thrusters generating 100 kW of power allow for steep 45-degree climbs, agile underwater manoeuvres and exceptional speed — all while maintaining a smooth, serene ride.
The Curaçao testing campaign will evaluate:

All tests will be supervised by U-Boat Worx engineers and field specialists, validating the submarine under real-world tropical conditions.
Engineering Milestone
