A zimut returns to boot Düsseldorf 2026 with a strong design and innovation statement, unveiling the German debut of the new Fly 82. A yacht that rethinks the flybridge experience from the ground up, the Fly 82 represents a decisive step forward for the Fly Series, combining pioneering architectural solutions with refined Italian design culture.

At the heart of this evolution lies the Deck2Deck™ Terrace, introduced for the first time in the Fly Series following its acclaimed success in the Grande range. The solution transforms the cockpit by extending it by over 1.5 metres, thanks to a teak-clad garage door that lifts seamlessly to the level of the main deck. The result is a dramatic increase in usable outdoor space and a closer, more fluid connection between interior and exterior living.

The Fly 82’s exterior styling is penned by Alberto Mancini, while interiors are designed by Fabio Fantolino, marking his third project within the Fly Series. Fantolino’s approach introduces a warmer, more architectural interpretation of onboard life. The main saloon, flooded with natural light, is organised around a large circular dining table that becomes the convivial centre of the yacht, complemented by a striking bronze glass wall and sculptural forms. Warm tones and soft geometries define an atmosphere that feels contemporary, welcoming and distinctly residential.

Beyond design, the Fly 82 is a clear expression of Azimut’s commitment to sustainability and technological leadership. As part of the shipyard’s Low Emission Yacht family, the model features an optimised hull developed by Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture in collaboration with the Azimut|Benetti Group R&D department, extensive use of carbon fibre, and IPS propulsion. These elements contribute to a 20–30% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to traditional shaft-line yachts in the same category.

Innovation continues with the introduction of WATCHIT Eye, the first AI-based collision avoidance system for yachts. Developed by marine-tech company WATCHIT in collaboration with the Group’s R&D team, the system is capable of detecting floating objects, boats and partially submerged obstacles, reinforcing Azimut’s role as a technology pioneer in the yachting industry.

Alongside the Fly 82, Azimut presents a broader Fly Series lineup showcasing consistent innovation across segments. The Fly 62 introduces the Beach Cockpit, where the stern sofa converts into a fold-down sunpad, while the Fly 53 offers an intelligent, family-focused approach in the 50-foot segment, prioritising light, functionality and space perception.

Completing the presence in Düsseldorf are two of Azimut’s most celebrated models: the Seadeck 6, which promotes a new lifestyle centred on wellbeing and a deeper connection to the sea, and the Grande 26M, a benchmark for style and innovation in the superyacht category.

With its presence at boot 2026, Azimut reinforces its position as one of the most forward-thinking yacht builders in the world, where design, sustainability and technology converge into a coherent vision for modern life at sea.
