A new Zeelander 8 has been delivered, offering a fresh interpretation of the Dutch yard’s 24-metre flagship. Built in limited numbers in the Netherlands, the model continues to occupy a distinct position in its segment, blending fast-cruising performance with a highly personalised onboard experience.

Finished in pearlescent white with gold detailing, this latest yacht stands out for its cohesive design language and fully bespoke configuration, both inside and out.

Bespoke without limits

Each Zeelander 8 is individually configured, and this new delivery highlights the extent of that flexibility. The main deck is centred around a redesigned galley with a central island that doubles as a social hub, while a more generous helm seating arrangement allows guests to remain connected to the experience under way.

A dedicated bar area with L-shaped seating expands the main lounge, reinforcing the yacht’s emphasis on sociability and flow.

Material choices play a key role. Gloss teak flooring, leather accents and gold-tone finishes create a layered interior that extends seamlessly to the exterior detailing, even reaching the yacht’s waterline.

Designed for life on the water

Beyond aesthetics, the layout is tailored for an active lifestyle. Large storage areas accommodate a wide range of watersports equipment, from Seabobs and dive tanks to kitesurfing gear and flyboards, while a Williams 435 jet tender ensures easy access to shore.

The yacht is also designed for owner-operator use. Accommodation typically reserved for crew can be repurposed, allowing up to nine guests to be hosted comfortably on board.

Performance, quietly delivered

Performance remains a defining element. Equipped with up to four Volvo Penta IPS-1350 engines, the Zeelander 8 can reach speeds of up to 40 knots, while cruising comfortably at 32 knots with a range of around 630 nautical miles.

At lower speeds, the range extends significantly, reaching up to 2,700 nautical miles at 7 knots, making the yacht suitable for longer passages.

Equally notable is the onboard silence. Thanks to a series of advanced, patent-pending technologies, sound levels are reduced to approximately 65 decibels at full speed, creating an environment closer to a quiet conversation than a high-performance yacht.

Built to last

Zeelander’s approach extends beyond immediate impact. Exterior wood finishes are recreated using a specialised painted technique on glassfibre, preserving the look of traditional varnished wood while eliminating intensive maintenance. A self-healing protective coating further enhances durability.

Synthetic teak decking complements this philosophy, offering the same visual warmth with reduced upkeep.

A signature philosophy

For Chairman Sietse Koopmans, the yacht reflects the essence of the brand: a balance between personal vision and technical precision.

Built entirely in the Netherlands and produced in limited numbers, the Zeelander 8 remains one of the most refined expressions of bespoke yacht building in its class.
