T he 50m Camila marks the latest Bilgin and Hot Lab collaboration, combining refined interiors with transoceanic capability and architectural precision.
The latest collaboration between Bilgin Yachts and Milan-based Hot Lab arrives in the form of Camila, a 50-metre superyacht that brings together long-range capability and a quietly sophisticated design language.
Delivered in May 2025, Camila is the second hull in the Bilgin 163 series and the result of more than fifteen years of collaboration between the Turkish shipyard and the Italian design studio, a partnership that continues to evolve through a shared focus on both engineering and liveability.
Engineering meets everyday living
At the core of the project lies a philosophy that treats design and function as inseparable. Hot Lab’s approach, often described as “Architecture for Voyagers”, translates here into a yacht where movement, light and spatial flow are considered as carefully as performance.
With a volume of 499 GT, Camila offers around 20% more interior space than comparable yachts in her category, creating a platform that feels open, balanced and intuitive to navigate.
Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she is powered by twin CAT C32 engines, reaching a top speed of 16.5 knots and offering a range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles, positioning her firmly within the long-range cruising segment.
A calm, composed interior
On board, the atmosphere is defined by understated luxury. Warm neutral tones, tactile materials and soft, organic forms create a sense of calm that runs throughout the yacht.
Carefully integrated lighting enhances this effect, shaping spaces that feel both intimate and open. The result is an environment designed not to impress instantly, but to reveal itself gradually.
Accommodation is arranged for up to 12 guests across six staterooms, with a layout that balances privacy and shared living, reflecting a lifestyle centred on comfort and connection.
Material precision
Material selection plays a central role in defining Camila’s identity. A refined palette of stones, including Travertine, Calacatta Gold and Carrara, introduces depth and texture across interior surfaces.
Bringing these elements together within a marine environment required a high level of craftsmanship, merging structural engineering with detailed finishing to achieve a seamless result.
A design language in evolution
Camila also reflects the maturity of the Bilgin–Hot Lab collaboration. Over multiple projects, the two teams have developed a consistent design language, balancing architectural clarity with softer, more organic forms.
This continuity allows each yacht to feel distinct while remaining connected to a broader identity, evolving through small, precise refinements rather than dramatic shifts.
With several projects already underway across the 50, 52 and 54-metre platforms, the partnership continues to build on this foundation.
Camila stands as a clear expression of that process, a yacht where Italian design sensitivity and Turkish engineering precision operate as one, without compromise.
