T he Overmarine Group opened the season with two consecutive launches, setting a confident pace for the months ahead and reaffirming the growing momentum of Mangusta across international waters.
We followed the latest developments and saw how the Italian shipyard translates its DNA into two distinct, yet equally compelling yachts.
A flagship built for distance
First in the water, on March 17 in Pisa, was the fourth Mangusta GranSport 54, the flagship of the fast displacement range.
Built in aluminium, the GranSport 54 moves effortlessly between long-range cruising and performance. With a range of up to 4,200 nautical miles at 12 knots and a top speed of 29 knots, it is designed for owners who want to go further without compromising on speed or comfort.
Design plays a defining role. Developed in collaboration with Alberto Mancini and Ausonio, the yacht features a bold, muscular profile, with sculpted air intakes, clean lines and a distinctive stern.
At the aft, the space opens into a wide beach club, transforming the connection with the sea into a central part of the onboard experience.
Inside, large glazed surfaces dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior, while the layout reflects the Owner’s vision. In this unit, one guest cabin has been reimagined as a dedicated wellness area, adding a more experiential dimension to life on board.
Performance, redefined
Just days later, on March 20 in Viareggio, the tenth Mangusta 104 REV entered the water.
Positioned as the entry point to the Maxi Open range, this model leans towards a more performance-driven identity, reaching 35 knots thanks to its MTU engines paired with Kongsberg-Kamewa waterjets.
Its silhouette speaks clearly. Designed in collaboration with Lobanov Design, the 104 REV combines sharp lines with fluid surfaces, creating a sporty yet refined presence.
Large glazed areas flood the interiors with natural light, while the fully opening aft cockpit enhances spatial continuity, turning the yacht into a seamless environment between indoors and outdoors.
The interiors follow a more classic configuration, enriched with custom solutions developed alongside architect Francesco Bortolato, reflecting the shipyard’s commitment to personalisation.
A strong start
With two launches in just a few days, Mangusta sends a clear message.
Different concepts, same philosophy.
Speed, range, design and customisation, all moving in parallel.
The season has officially begun.
