W ally opened its 2026 racing season at the North Sound Maxi Regatta, with the fleet delivering a strong overall performance in the British Virgin Islands.

The regatta also marked the debut of the Wally Performance Trophy, a new season-long competition rewarding consistency across Wally yachts.

A clear standout

Leading the fleet was V, the wallycento owned by Karel Komárek, which secured overall victory in the Maxi Class after a highly consistent week of racing across varying conditions.

The same yacht also placed third overall in the Combined Class, competing against a mixed fleet of Maxi and pure racing yachts.

Strength across the fleet

The second wallycento on the starting line, Galateia, owned by Chris and David Leuschen, finished third in the Maxi Class and fifth overall in the Combined Class, confirming the performance level of the series.

The wallycento platform, with its 100-foot yachts, continues to represent the core of Wally’s philosophy, combining advanced engineering, refined design and high-level performance.

Beyond racing

On March 21, Wally hosted the Wally Sunset Cocktail at Biras Marina & Resort, bringing together owners and guests in a relaxed setting that reflects the brand’s lifestyle identity.

Season ahead

With a strong opening in the Caribbean, the Wally Performance Trophy 2026 now moves towards its Mediterranean stages.
