F or three days in late April, Lefkada turned into a working hub for the charter industry. Charter Meetup Greece 2026 brought together international brokers and charter managers in a format that focuses less on visibility and more on actual business.

From April 22 to 24, 29 charter brokers and around 60 charter managers met on the ground, combining dockside experience with structured B2B meetings across one of the Mediterranean’s most active sailing regions.

On the docks

The programme leaned heavily into first-hand experience. Brokers moved across key Ionian hubs, visiting Palairos, Mytikas, Preveza, Nydri Marina, Marina Perigiali, Lefkas D-Marine and Lefkas Main Port.

Seeing fleets up close, walking the docks and meeting local teams changes how destinations are sold. It sharpens recommendations, builds confidence, and ultimately shapes how Greece is positioned to clients looking for their next charter.

Meetings that compress months into days

Beyond the tours, the core of the event was a series of pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings. Over three days, hundreds of direct conversations took place between brokers actively booking Greece and the managers behind the fleets.

In practical terms, this kind of setup replaces months of emails and calls with immediate, face-to-face interaction. The feedback from participants reflected that efficiency, highlighting both the organisation and the tangible business value of the format.

A format that continues

Charter Meetup Greece is part of a wider series of destination-focused events. The next stops include Türkiye in early May and Croatia later in the month, following the same approach: bring the market to the destination, create real contact, and let the product speak for itself.
