W ith two dynamic events in Italy and Greece, Yachtmaster Group’s Charter Meetup series fostered high-level networking, regional collaboration, and fresh business opportunities for yacht charter professionals across Europe.
The first event took place from April 9–11 at Capo d’Orlando Marina in Sicily, Italy. It gathered dozens Italian fleet operators, 15 international charter brokers, and several suppliers. The program included more than 100 B2B speed meetings, presentations about sailing in Italy, and marina tours showcasing over 50 charter yachts, including catamarans from Bali and Lagoon. Participants also joined a welcome reception, presentation by Ankor Software, networking dinners, and a Promo Sailing Week, where brokers sailed boats from participating fleet operators to gain firsthand experience.
The second event followed from April 23–26 on Lefkas Island, Greece. Here, 25 Greek fleet operators, 20 international brokers, and 5 suppliers came together for 675 scheduled ten-minute meetings.
Participants attended presentations on the Greek sailing areas, as well as an overview of the MMK Booking Manager system.
After the meetings, marina tours were organized at Palairois, Preveza Marina, Lefkas D-Marin and Lefkas Main Port, where participants visited a wide range of bareboat and crewed yachts.
The event also featured a welcome reception at Hotel Lefkas and a closing dinner sponsored by Sealogy at Remezzo Restaurant in Lefkas. Brokers continued their experience with a Promo Sailing Week, sailing boats provided by the fleet operators.
“Charter Meetup offers a direct and effective way for fleet operators, brokers, and suppliers to meet, exchange knowledge, and build new partnerships,” said Antonija Čagalj, CEO of Yachtmaster Group.
