F For 15 years, the Catamarans Cup International Regatta has turned the Aegean into a floating festival of sailing, friendship, and Greek spirit. This October, it returns once again, celebrating its milestone anniversary with an unforgettable route across the Saronic and Argolic Gulf.
Few sailing events capture the joy of the sea quite like the Catamarans Cup, and this year’s 15th edition promises to be its most memorable yet. Organized by Istion Yachting, Greece’s leading charter and yachting services company, the event will set sail from Alimos Marina on Saturday, October 25, for a weeklong regatta that blends competition with camaraderie, discovery, and pure sailing pleasure.
More than 280 sailors from over 15 countries will join the flotilla, transforming the Aegean into a vibrant canvas of color and sails. The route will follow a beloved course through the Saronic and Argolic Gulf, visiting Poros, Porto Heli, Paralio Astros, and Nafplio—each destination offering authentic Greek hospitality, local cuisine, and the chance to connect beyond the horizon.
Beyond a regatta, the Catamarans Cup has evolved into a community. It’s a meeting point for seasoned sailors, families, and first-time adventurers who share one passion: the sea. It celebrates not only sailing excellence but also the bonds that form between people and the timeless rhythm of the Greek archipelago.

Powered by passion and partnerships, the event proudly continues its collaboration with Lagoon Catamarans and Excess Catamarans as Grand Sponsors, while being supported by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) and the municipalities of Poros, Ermionida, N. Kynouria, and Nafplion—a coalition that strengthens Greece’s image as a premier, year-round sailing destination.

Fifteen years on, the Catamarans Cup remains a celebration of freedom, teamwork, and discovery—a regatta that doesn’t just take place at sea but lives in every sailor’s heart.
