A s Media Partner of boot Düsseldorf 2026, The Yachtbook dives into everything that makes Hall 17 the beating heart of surf, foil and trend sports. From world-class competitions to hands-on sessions and the now-legendary aftershow vibes, this year’s edition promises an elevated experience for both athletes and fans.

World-class contests on the 62-metre Action Pool

From 17 to 25 January 2026, top riders from across the globe meet in Düsseldorf for an intense line-up of competitions. Three official World Cups headline the programme:
GWA Indoor Wingfoil World Cup – boot Düsseldorf 2026
SFT Surf Foil World Tour – boot Düsseldorf 2026
EuroTour SUP Indoor World Cup – boot Düsseldorf 2026

Athletes will “fly” across the pool, battle for tenths of a second, and deliver the kind of indoor spectacle only boot can stage. Windsurfing takes centre stage too, with the FPT Freestyle Pro Tour bringing high-energy jumps normally reserved for open-water sessions.

As 2024 Freestyle World Champion Lennart Neubauer put it after his victory:
“These are exactly the kinds of events that help make the sport bigger and more well-known.”

Wakeboard, skimboard & signature boot energy

The “Pooltastic Wakeboard Masters” return with dynamic tricks, music and a spray-soaked front row, while the European Skimboard Masters gather a passionate community of pros and fans. Full rider line-ups will be announced soon — but one thing is certain: Hall 17 delivers the finest indoor action in Europe.

Try it yourself: the participation programme

Visitors can step into the pool and experience the thrill first-hand:
• Wakeboarding & SUP
• Pumpfoiling
• Windsurfing powered by 82 wind machines
• Kitesurf simulator with jumps “up to the hall ceiling”

With pro coaches on-site, beginners and experienced riders can safely test new sports and hone their skills.

Beim “FPT Tow In Indoor Freestyle World Cup – boot Düsseldorf 2025” haben Windsurf Freestyle Rider auf dem XXL Pool in Halle 17 ihr Können gezeigt und das Publikum mit coolen Moves und Sprüngen beeindruckt.

Community, camping and aftershow vibes

When the exhibition day ends, Hall 17 keeps the rhythm alive with DJ sets, drinks and relaxed networking at the Soft Closing sessions. For those who want the full experience, the Surf Festival Camp at P1 offers discounted camping, yoga sessions and evening DJ sets — turning the show into a multi-day surf culture festival.
