F ollowing the debut of its first sailing catamaran, Aquila Catamarans is strengthening its presence in the sailing market with eight new dealers worldwide.
Aquila Catamarans is accelerating its entry into the sailing segment, announcing the appointment of eight new dealers to represent its growing sail range. The move comes shortly after the launch of the Aquila 50 Sail, the brand’s first sailing model, which was introduced earlier this year at the Miami International Boat Show.
The newly appointed partners join Aquila’s global network of more than 100 dealers, expanding the brand’s reach across key sailing regions and supporting the rollout of its new sailing lineup.
The Aquila 50 Sail will next be showcased at the International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte (22-26 April), where it will make its European debut. The model marks the first step in Aquila’s broader sailing strategy, which will also include the 44 Sail, expected in September/October 2026, and the flagship 65 Sail, scheduled for September/October 2027.
Global dealer network
Among the newly appointed dealers, The Catamaran Company will handle sales of Aquila sailing catamarans across the United States, offering services ranging from sales and yacht management to maintenance.
In the Asia-Pacific region, Whitehaven will represent Aquila in Australia and New Zealand and will present the 50 Sail at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (21-24 May), marking the model’s Australian premiere.
Further expansion in Asia includes Primus Marine, which will cover Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, regions where interest in Aquila’s full product line has been growing.
In Europe, several new partners have been appointed across important cruising destinations. Barcando becomes Aquila’s exclusive sail dealer in Italy, operating along the Tyrrhenian coastline, while Corsica Multicoques, based in Ajaccio, will represent the brand in Corsica.
In Greece, Athenian Yachts will handle sales of Aquila sailing catamarans across major sailing areas including the Ionian Islands, Cyclades, Saronic Gulf, Sporades, and Dodecanese.
Meanwhile, Perfect Boat will represent Aquila in Bulgaria, acting as both a power and sail dealer. In the Iberian Peninsula, Estupenda Náutica, already responsible for Aquila’s power catamarans, will now also represent the sailing range in Spain and Portugal.
Expanding the Aquila Sail range
According to Nick Harvey, Chief Revenue Officer at Aquila Catamarans, the sailing division is gaining strong momentum.
“The launch of our sailing range is going from strength to strength, and we are pleased to make the 50 Sail accessible to more buyers via our new dealers,” Harvey said. “They are experts in the market and the perfect representatives for the 50 Sail and the wider Aquila Sail range.”
Aquila officially entered the sailing market in 2025, building on decades of experience in the catamaran segment. The sailing models are designed to combine the brand’s well-known characteristics from its power catamarans, including generous social spaces, strong seakeeping performance, versatility, and high construction quality.
The Aquila 50 Sail was developed in collaboration with long-time design partner J&J Design, focusing on spacious layouts and cruising comfort. The catamaran offers four, five, or six-cabin configurations, with each cabin featuring private access, generous headroom, and ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers.
With its expanding dealer network and growing lineup, Aquila is positioning its new sailing division to reach a broader audience of cruising enthusiasts worldwide.
