A rchipelago Yachts heads to boot Düsseldorf 2026, unveiling a new chapter in eco-conscious luxury and advanced clean propulsion technology.

Archipelago Yachts, the British boat builder known for its eco-conscious luxury catamarans, has confirmed its participation at boot Düsseldorf 2026, taking place from 17 to 25 January in Düsseldorf, Germany. Visitors will find the brand at Stand 7AE02, where the company is set to reveal key developments that mark a significant milestone in its sustainable yachting journey.

Founded by lifelong sailor and marine innovator Dr Stephen Weatherley, Archipelago Yachts has built a strong reputation by combining high-performance expedition capabilities with a deep commitment to environmental responsibility. The company’s design philosophy focuses on reducing environmental impact without compromising range, comfort, or on-water experience.

Speaking ahead of the show, Dr Weatherley described boot Düsseldorf as the ideal platform for the brand’s next move. With its global reach and focus on marine innovation, the exhibition offers Archipelago the opportunity to present how it is actively redefining what sustainable yacht design can achieve.

While full details will be unveiled during the show, Archipelago has confirmed that its upcoming announcement will centre on a next-generation vessel designed to push boundaries in sustainability, performance, and onboard experience. Throughout boot Düsseldorf, the Archipelago team will be available to meet with media, partners, and prospective owners, offering a closer look at the brand’s vision for the future of clean yachting.

The announcement follows Archipelago’s recent success in securing Innovate UK funding through the UK Government’s Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition (Round 6). In collaboration with Chartwell Marine and a consortium of British marine innovators, the company was awarded funding for the “Methanol Pathfinder UK” project.

This seven-month initiative focuses on developing and prototyping an advanced methanol-based range-extension and propulsion system for electric vessels. By converting methanol into low-pressure hydrogen to generate onboard power, the system aims to provide a practical and safe alternative to conventional marine fuels, while enabling extended range and supporting the long-term goal of eliminating combustion engines entirely.

Building on Archipelago’s established leadership in sustainable propulsion systems, the project underlines the company’s commitment to delivering commercially viable, real-world clean energy solutions for the maritime sector. At boot Düsseldorf 2026, visitors will get a first-hand look at how this vision is translating into tangible innovation on the water.
