B aglietto has launched Marsa Luna, the eighth unit in its successful T52 line, marking another milestone for the La Spezia shipyard and reinforcing its strategic investment in hybrid technology.

Designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, hull no. 10253 touched the water last December in the presence of Baglietto management and the Owner’s representatives, Kirill Kuatov of NAU Yachts and Aberton Yachts.

More than a new delivery, Marsa Luna represents a tangible step forward in the yard’s sustainable evolution. She is the second T52 fitted with the upgraded hybrid propulsion system, offering owners the flexibility to navigate in different modes depending on operational needs. In electrical diesel mode, the yacht can remain at anchor for up to 12 hours relying exclusively on battery power, significantly reducing both fuel consumption and environmental impact.

When operating in traditional mode, powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, Marsa Luna reaches a top speed of 16 knots and offers a range of 4,500 nautical miles, ensuring transoceanic capability without compromising performance. The hybrid configuration therefore blends long-range cruising credentials with conscious energy management — an increasingly important balance in the superyacht segment.

From an architectural perspective, this T52 continues Baglietto’s contemporary design trajectory. Sinuous lines, balanced proportions and a strong emphasis on usable volume define the yacht’s exterior language. The layout has been conceived for extended cruising, prioritizing functionality and seamless onboard circulation.

The connection to the sea is most evident at the stern, where an open beach club unfolds over three levels. A swimming pool with a movable floor and pop-up system allows the deck area to transform when the pool is not in use, increasing versatility and spatial fluidity. On the upper deck, expansive windows that open on three sides create a protected yet airy lounge suitable for varying climates.

The approximately 24-metre-long sundeck once again stands out as a signature element of the T52 platform — a clear expression of Baglietto’s DNA: generous outdoor spaces, architectural clarity and technical sophistication.

With Marsa Luna, Baglietto further consolidates the T52 as one of the most compelling hybrid-ready platforms in the 50-metre segment, combining engineering substance with refined Italian design.
