B enetti is at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from October 30 to November 3 with M/Y Abbentures², the Diamond 44M unit making her debut on the American market, and the Oasis 34M M/Y Grateful.

Benetti is participating in the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2024, one of the industry’s most important trade fairs worldwide. For the first time, the Shipyard will be exhibiting a Diamond 44M, specifically M/Y Abbentures², the fibreglass flagship in the Class family with exterior styling by Cassetta Yacht Designers and interiors by Benetti. This 44-metre yacht has four decks: the Main Deck is home to the master cabin and the large salon, in addition to the galley and services area; the Upper Deck features a large interior living area that extends outside towards the stern, as well as the helm station and captain’s cabin; the Sun Deck offers over 102 square metres that can be fitted out according to the owner’s preferences, and the Lower Deck contains four VIP cabins and the crew quarters.

There was a sharp focus during the design process on achieving the highest standards of soundproofing and, in this respect, the Diamond 44M ranks at the top of the category. The yacht is powered by two MAN engines rated for 1,400 HP at 2,300 r/min, delivering a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,100 nautical miles at a speed of 11 knots.

Also on display at the US boat show will be the Oasis 34M, M/Y Grateful, with her sleek design that extends across three decks, plus a generous Sun Deck with an extensive, sea-hugging stern. Designed for owners who want to live in close contact with the water, M/Y Grateful is the result of a collaboration between the Shipyard, UK-based firm RWD – which handled the exterior styling – and Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture for the interior concept. The Oasis Deck® aft is the solution designed by Benetti to experience life at sea in an engaging way. Two wings open laterally to enlarge the deck area. The infinity pool built into the very heart of the deck thus offers an unrestricted 270-degree view, as does the Main Deck salon. The mix of sun and shade lets guests enjoy the experience of total relaxation at any time of day, while the social design weaves the entire deck, from the main salon to the sea, into a uniquely convivial oasis.

The interiors feature neutral colours and shades of grey, interspersed with detailing in materials that tend towards blue and sky blue, such as the bespoke bookcase on the Main Deck, in which the standard Green Onyx has been replaced with a blue mirror. Other features of this unit have also been revisited: the dining table, usually on the Upper Deck, has been moved to the Main Deck; the jet ski is housed in the bow on the Upper Deck with a davit to haul it up; a firepit is installed astern on the Main Deck and, finally, an American bar is featured in the aft section of the Sun Deck.

“FLIBS represents a crucial event for Benetti in constantly growing Americas market. This positive trend is confirmed by the recent sales of a 80 meter full custom yacht and two new units of the B.Now 50M line, demonstrating our commitment and customer trust in this market,” commented Nick Bischoff, Benetti Country Manager Americas.

On October 30th at 10:30am, an event aimed at American brokers will be held at the Benetti stand, during which the new projects unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show will be presented for the first time to the U.S. market. The event will feature designer Giorgio M. Cassetta, who will introduce the new B.Loft line, Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture and Igor Lobanov, who will present the new B.Yond models (40M and 57M), and the RWD studio, which will introduce the new Motopanfilo 45M, with exteriors designed by them and interiors created by Lazzarini Pickering Architetti.
