G rand Banks prepares to mark its 70th anniversary in 2026 with a European showcase that speaks directly to long-range cruisers. At boot Düsseldorf 2026 (17–25 January), the shipyard will present a custom-built Grand Banks 54 EU Edition, developed jointly with the GB EU Team and configured specifically for Mediterranean and Northern European waters.

The GB54 EU Edition reflects Grand Banks’ ongoing philosophy: yachts shaped by real usage, capable of travelling farther, faster and with greater efficiency. The model on display features a contemporary European interior with bright teak finishes, large windows and an emphasis on natural light. The main-deck saloon integrates lounge seating, dining, an interior helm station and a fully equipped galley, supported by electrical blinds, full air-conditioning and central heating for year-round living.

Below deck, the yacht adopts a three-cabin layout built for extended stays — a full-beam master with en-suite, a forward VIP cabin, and a twin guest cabin with a second head. The arrangement is designed for owners who want to spend weeks or entire seasons aboard.

Exterior living follows the same logic. A back-facing cockpit sofa creates a natural relaxation point, while twin transom doors connect directly to an expanded bathing platform. A passerelle and cockpit capstans streamline stern-to berthing in Mediterranean harbours.

Performance remains central to the GB identity. The blue steel-painted V-Warp® hull delivers higher efficiency and stability, reducing fuel consumption by up to 60 percent compared with similar yachts. Powered by twin Volvo D13 900 hp engines on shafts and supported by bow and stern thrusters, the GB54 cruises comfortably at 20 knots, while Humphree stabilizers, interceptors, a watermaker and solar panels increase autonomy from southern cruising grounds to northern latitudes.

Grand Banks craftsmanship remains visible everywhere: hand-selected teak, precision-fit cabinetry, flawless glasswork and composite structures using carbon fibre for rigidity and weight reduction. Exterior faux-teak on the transom and toe-rail keeps the classic aesthetic with minimal maintenance.

As Grand Banks approaches its anniversary year, the GB54 EU Edition becomes a statement of continuity — heritage, efficiency and thoughtful design applied to modern cruising.
