T he fifth unit of the Mangusta Oceano 39 has been launched in Viareggio, further confirming the growing international success of Overmarine Group’s displacement three-deck yacht.
Overmarine Group has celebrated the launch of the fifth unit of the Mangusta Oceano 39, which touched the water on March 5 at the shipyard’s facilities in Viareggio, Italy. The launch marks another milestone for the successful displacement line, which continues to attract strong interest across international markets.
The new yacht was commissioned by an experienced owner deeply familiar with the world of yachting, who selected M2Atelier to design the interiors, creating a refined and personalized onboard environment.
Described by Mangusta Sales Manager Nicolò Strocco as a “miniature mega-yacht,” the Mangusta Oceano 39 blends timeless elegance with meticulous craftsmanship, combining generous volumes with carefully considered design details.
The yacht’s exterior design was developed by Alberto Mancini in collaboration with the shipyard’s Engineering Department. With an internal volume of 330 GT, the Mangusta Oceano 39 offers impressive living spaces and architectural solutions designed to maintain a constant connection with the sea.
Its sleek, contemporary profile is complemented by glazed gunwales on the upper deck and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that enhance natural light and visual openness. Many of these windows can partially open, seamlessly connecting interior and exterior spaces.
Among the model’s distinctive design elements are the aft beach house with side terraces that extend over the water, as well as the forward infinity pool featuring a glass-bottom section – both of which have become signature Mangusta design features.
Powered by two MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines producing 2,600 HP each, the Mangusta Oceano 39 reaches a top speed of 19 knots and cruises comfortably at 16 knots, combining long-range displacement cruising with refined onboard comfort.
