BURGESS IS DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THE DELIVERY OF ALVIA

The 76.05-meter Feadship ALVIA was delivered to her owner at the Royal Van Lent shipyard in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on April 30, 2024.

The project was sold by the Burgess brokerage team before Burgess Technical Services oversaw the project from pre-contract specification and contract development to final sea trials and acceptance. The team collaborated with some of the industry’s best engineers, designers, and crew to deliver an exceptional yacht.

Sold, build-project managed, crewed and operationally managed by Burgess

Known as PROJECT HANAMI during the build, after the Japanese festival of the cherry blossom, the now-named ALVIA embodies an elegant exterior design from the board of RWD, who also worked alongside Susan Young Interiors to realize the owner’s vision.

Stand-out features on this new Feadship include a main deck pool, versatile sports court on the foredeck, fully equipped gym and spa area, and interactive bridge deck lighting.

Ready for delivery after successful sea trials

Her 2,265 GT and 13.2m beam offer a feeling of space while onboard, and her transatlantic+ range of 5500nm allows her to travel with ease between her cruising grounds in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

Nathan Durley-Boot, Marine Engineer and Project Manager, Burgess Technical Services, said, ‘We are delighted to have worked with such an experienced and professional owner’s team to help deliver this very special yacht’.

This is a true 360-degree service from Burgess, harmoniously fusing brokerage, technical services, and operational management.
